A FESTIVAL TRADITION IN SILVERTON, OREGON SINCE 1951!

Silverton, Oregon - Strawberry Festival - Father's Day Sunday, June 20th, 2010

A long-running Silverton Father's Day tradition, The Silverton Strawberry Festival is a day of family fun in the shady setting of our city park. The festival offers a breakfast with pancakes and eggs, or French toast starting at 8am to 11am. For the rest of the day we serve up a strawberry delight with biscuits and ice cream and a free second helping of strawberries. The afternoon menu includes a light BBQ chicken lunch along with performances by a variety of live music groups.

First held in 1951 as a function of the Silverton hills Community Club, the festival moved to the park in 1995 and has been operated by the non-profit Homer Davenport Days Inc. since.  The festival hosts a small arts and crafts fair with a garden selection of spring plants.

The festival hours are from 8 am until 6pm
Admission into the park is free
Breakfast is $5.00 for all
Strawberry shortcake desert is free for children under 2 and over 80!
The BBQ chicken lunch is $7.00 for all
